Good points Well equipped and seats are very comfortable. Bad points Build quality has gone down on successive Golfs and this has to be the worst. Compared to the initial concept this is a bloated fatboy of a car. I know another owner and he has similar issues. This is a three year old car with 42000 miles on the clock and bought from new. Mechanical faults and a host electronic issues mean it will be traded in for something none VW. For example the last service bill was 880 quid. Combined with the poor attitude of the garage in Maidenhead we will be saying good bye to VW. Other comments Depreciation is horrendous. Don’t do it. The competition is better.
