It occured to me today that many of our regular readers might not know that we offer RSS feeds, and probably even more that aren’t really sure what an RSS feed is. Let me explain… It is a method for delivering web content to you when you want it. Websites such as the UK Car Reviews Blog provide RSS feeds that alert subscribers to new content when its posted. Subscribing to RSS feeds can save you time checking back at websites to see if they’ve been updated. We run a relaxed ship here, and can’t make any promises about how frequently we will add stuff. Sometimes its daily, more often weekly, and sometimes if we’re really slack/busy with other things/the World Cup is on or its just really sunny it could be less frequent. How to subscribe to RSS feedsFirst you need a method for receiving the feed content, often known as RSS aggregators. One of the most popular aggregators is Bloglines. Bloglines is a free service that lets you subscribe to feeds. Here’s a quick example of a bloglines account subscribed to our main feed.
