Good points

Engine is economical, I achieved 55MPG easy at motorway speeds. Acceleration between 45-70mph is very good, as the engine has plenty of pull. Standard interior spec is fairly good, sport seats, auto lights on, auto wipers, trip computer and the full electric pack as standard. Later models (52 onward) have front and side airbags fitted as standard. This models holds it value better than some other cars.

Bad points

Reliability of the car I had was poor. I had a few problems. Anit-Pollution fault displayed on LCD (With ECU Light on). This was a repetitive fault, the local main dealer could not sort it out in 1 visit. I ended up going to the garage 6 times in 6 months! Engine flat spots. This was caused by faulty throttle pedal switch – easily rectified. Oil leak on sump gasket. All these faults were covered by the warranty.

Other comments

Driving position is an acquired taste. Pedals are quite close together.
