Good points
Great cabin & interior space with comfortable seats. Lovely styling with good finish. Good size boot. Smooth engine, but underpowered.
Bad points
Suspension ruins the whole car for me. Too much bumping & banging from the over-hard dampers, NOT A LUXURY RIDE! Cabin rattles, though this would not be so bad if the ride wasn’t so bumpy & shaky. Tiptronic, side to side, not as good or precise in gear selection as BMW up & down Tip. Auto mode, not bad by dreadful modern standards. Better than BMW, not as good as Lexus.
Other comments
A car is NOT a luxury car if it doesn’t give a luxury ride. This car’s over-firm dampers keep me on edge & un-relaxed, unable to concentrate on just driving without looking for the most minute of road impurities. If Mercedes stopped trying to make their ‘luxury’ cars drive like ‘hot hatches’ this car would be a winner. All they have done with this vehicle is bring the ride quality down to the level of cheaper & lesser brand cars. SO, what’s the point in buying a luxury car?
