Good points 2.7 diesel is a superb all rounder with 27 mpg around town on the lwb 7 seater. it will tow anything and will climb a house end in 4×4 Bad points the only known fault is the front free wheeling hubs can fail and the bearing chew up. on a test drive engage 4×4 and listen for a rattle from the front corners. a new hub complete can cost ?400 per side & is easy to fit. Other comments avoid the petrol versions as you can expect half the mpg around town ! the Nissan Terrano is the same vehicle. the swb is also good but the rear end can slide about in the wet. the lwb is a much more useful tool.
