Good points The Citroen C5 110 HDi is comfortable, roomy, quiet, superb on motorways, reasonably economical (but not as good as the Citroen BX Turbo diesel that preceded it), and totally reliable to date (11,000 miles). The climate control on the C5 110 HDi also works well. Bad points Decent ride but not in the Citroen DS class. Very poor visibility out of car – thick pillars, cannot see front or out of back, nor much at sides either! Our ‘68 Mustang has a much better heater, take ages to warm up & hardly any warm air to feet when it does. The C5’s electronics interfere with radio on medium & long wave unless very powerful signal. Electronics go haywire occasionally but always clear quickly. Believed to depreciate heavily but so what, it’s on Citroen’s contract hire! Other comments Overall the C5 110 HDi is ok, but won’t be keeping it 12 years like our last Citroen! Rating: 3/5 Leave a Reply
